Print Submission Guidelines During Covid-19

The Innovation Sandbox is excited to be able to offer printing in a limited capacity during the COVID-19 pandemic. Here’s what you need to know before submitting a part.

What's Different?

  • We only print parts for in-person classes and faculty research projects. Please note that we do not print club projects, personal projects, or all-virtual class projects under any circumstances.

  • No students are allowed to enter the Innovation Sandbox room. All parts should be picked up from the glass display case outside our door M-F 8am-8pm or whenever the Bonderson building is open. If you have questions or concerns about your parts, email us at sandboxprinting@gmail.com.

  • We receive print requests via our online submission form. We only accept prints that follow our printing guidelines found here. Attach your files in .STL format. Please let us know if you modeled your part in any units other than mm.

Please note that we are no longer accepting parts for Spring 2021, and are closed weeks 10 and finals.
